Will Intel's 'Bonanza mine' chip compete with Bitmain?

This year, Intel has a presentation scheduled in the 'Highlighted Chip Releases' category to outline a new "Bonanza Mine" processor, a chip described as an "ultra-low-voltage energy-efficient Bitcoin mining ASIC." That means Intel could soon compete with the likes of Bitmain in the market for specialized ASICs for Bitcoin mining.

Intel mentioned in their reports that new 2nd-gen Bonanza Mine chips are going to operate at 3,600 Watts. That would be the highest performance used for Bitcoin mining. The company’s reports from 2018 are showing that its goal was to reduce power consumption by approximately 15%.

How good is Bitmain s19j XP vs Bonanza bmz2?

The slide records performance of the new mining device at 135 TH/s with 26 J/TH of proficiency, performing slightly less than Bitmain's S19j XP devices. The Bonanza Mine-controlled device is 15% more effective than the Bitmain S19j Pro. As far as peak performance, the BMZ2 system tips the scales at a serious 135 TH/s.
